About Thomas

There are lots of things you could say about me, some of them more important than others. I am a husband to a beautiful wife and a father to two incredible children. I'm also a son, a friend, a brother, a nephew, a cousin, an uncle, and a grandson. I am a voracious reader, a certified scuba diver, okay at golf, a decent chef, and a long retired athlete. I enjoy writing, love the ocean, and have rediscovered the joy of chess. I do things I love even though I'm not very good at them like fishing and singing, and I am determined to eventually play the piano. All that to say I am just another fellow pilgrim in this journey called life.

From a professional standpoint the easiest way to explain is that I am a “humanologist.” I study the things that make us human, both from a theoretical standpoint and in lived experience. I am fascinated by the things that truly bring us vibrancy in life and the things that steal that away. With my personal faith as a foundation I draw from several disciplines (psychology, sociology, anthropology, theology, etc.) in an attempt to create an integrative approach to life for myself and others. My calling is to create brighter futures by spreading peace and hope. I love helping people discover their purpose in life and giving them the power to pursue it. My vocation is to write, create, coach, and speak, and I try my best to harness all of those things to serve others.

Thank you for joining me. I hope what you find here blesses you!

Your Fellow Pilgrim,

T.A. Prewitt
